About Torrey Pines
Torrey Pines Golf Course is one of the most iconic public golf destinations in the world, perched atop dramatic cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in La Jolla, California. Known for its rugged coastal beauty, demanding layouts, and championship pedigree, Torrey Pines is home to two courses—the North and the South—both offering sweeping ocean views, native Torrey pine trees, and a true test of golf shaped by wind, elevation, and firm conditions. Each year, the property takes center stage on the global golf calendar as the PGA Tour arrives for the Farmers Insurance Open, transforming the South Course into a major championship–level venue and reinforcing Torrey Pines’ status as a bucket-list golf experience.
